Rod Taylor, and found a fascinating wealth of material beyond that.

Your site is wonderful!
I found you while searching for much-rumored Time Machine models
(and then linked to you from Carl Piermarini's site) for a children's
book project on which I am working.
Your site provides vital resource info on those interested in building
TM replicas -- as such, you are doing the world a tremendous service!
I wish this site was around (or even the Internet) when I scratch-built
a (really amateur) Time Machine model back in the early 70s.
Don't put too much stock into my own site (URL listed above)...
it's something I threw together for my kids -- but my own Time Machine
model will appear on it when complete.
Keep up the good work! |

Greetings, Don and
Mary!
Just dropped in to say "Hello!" I have been to your site many times
since its renovation and I will add that you have done a simply
incredible amount of work to insure its continued popularity!
With all that you have posted for us fellow fans to read, you have
literally guaranteed that we will return again and again! I have
learned much on this classic film that I never knew before and I
wish you all the best in your wonderful tribute to The Time Machine,
its stars, its special effects (and the talents who created them),
and most especially, the two amazing men responsible for its inception
onto the screen... H.G. Wells, the author...and Mr. George Pal!
His memory and achievements will continue to shine on through the
years! And we, his admiring fans will enjoy this classic legacy...after
all.. we have all the Time in the world! Thanks for such a great
website devoted to my favorite sci-fi film! I wish you both well!

Don & Mary,
I just realized I never signed your guestbook! So here goes!
Your old Time Machine site was great all by itself, but this one
is even better!!! You guys thoroughly cover all aspects of this
favorite story of mine (and for many others, I'm sure!)
I thank you guys and feel honored that you have me contribute to
this marvelous site! I'm sure that you guys are helping to satisfy
a hunger for anything having to do with the Time Machine, for many
nuts like me, who love this movie and story!
Thanks for being here!

hello don,
as you can see, i finally made to your website.
i ended up calling the aol help line and their
representative gave me the steps to acess the site
(about 7 or 8 steps). he tried the address on your
flyer and was able to get through without a problem -- still have
no clue why i couldn't do it
directly. aol offers a "favorites" feature, and so
i added your site to the list. the aol rep was very amused by your
website, especially the floating eyeballs! frankly, they were beginning
to
worry me since i found i couldn't shake them!!
so i'll be visiting often. thanks for all your
help. by the way, i STILL can't get to your site
directly. can't figure it out...
see ya, marvin |

Hi Don & Mary,
Your site is wonderful, and it seems to keep on getting better.
I admire all the work you put into it -- it has become one of my
most frequently visited places. Really get a thrill knowing there
are other folks out there who love the Time Machine like I do. Just
to let you know, I've managed to get all the dimensions off those
studio prints you sent me. Thanks. I'll keep you informed on my
progress.

Hello again! I like
the new version of your website. It looks great and it's even better
than it was before. I like the new items such as the 1949 BBC Production,
the Quiz and the 40th Anniversary Screening. I was impressed by
the video recording of Jeri Ryan's interview at the 40th Anniversary
Screening. I received the video tape 'Time Machine: The Journey
Back' last week after sending the money order for it and I saw it
twice. I enjoyed every bit of it including the eight minute sequel.
I hear that a movie length sequel is to be made. If it's made, it
would be great if it has Rod Taylor, Alan Young and Yvette Mimieaux
reprising their roles. If the sequel and the remake are both made,
I will look forward to seeing them. I congratulate you for the improvement
of your website and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

A very good site,
I have had a interest in The Time Machine ever since watching the
film has a child. I am about to order a model of the Machine in
kit form made by Lunar Models, it would be of interest if I could
be put in contact with any other Enthusiast who has built this kit.
Many Thanks |

Hi, This is one
impressive web site! The roaming eyes are quite a whimsical touch.
I was one of the guys who helped carry the Time Machine into the
Museum. My wife and I are the volunteers currently keeping the Travels
Through Time Museum up and running. We both work five days a week
at other jobs so the Museum is only open on weekends for now. We
are trying to find someone to either lease or purchase the Museum.
Paul Newitt said you might be willing to help, so we were wondering
if you might know of someone who would be interested in taking over
the Museum. We would hate to see this place close.
Hope to hear from you soon. Richard |
