Being a huge fan of the 1960 version I did not have the nerve to go see this movie until yesterday 3-17-02. I have seen the 1960 movie and this version is not the classic. But,it stands on its own merit. It is a good movie. It, however is way too short. There was too much left out from the story telling point. Too many questions posed and not answered. CAN "DVD" SAVE THE FUTURE??? Only time will tell. |
