Two different questions. My answers as follows: A) It would seem that when DreamWorks was elaborating their remake movie project, an animated TV series spinoff was contemplated. To the best of my knowledge, this project appears to be dead. B) When the Deluxe version of the DVD of the 1960 Pal movie was being conceived, it had been proposed that a reading of the original novel by Alan Young be included on a CD as a bonus. Clyde Lucas, who produced the "Journey Back" documentary, was probably behind this idea because for many months afterwards, he had been announcing such a CD on his website as being "soon available". This announcement, however, was removed recently so it would appear the project was dropped. |
