I fear something terrible must have happened while the dreamworks version of the time machine was being made. I read Mr S.Wells suffered from exhaustion or something and was replaced near the end of production. I think everybody involved must have known at some point the film was in trouble. That must be a horrible feeling knowing J.Q.Public is going rip your heart out if you screw up. My feelings go out to Mr Wells. This project was a huge undertaking. I liked it, and will buy the DVD just to find out what happened and catch the deleated parts if they are there. |
