TCM has scheduled a tribute to Rod Taylor on January 29, 2015 begining at 8pm Eastern Time

It is with a very sad heart to have to report that Rod Taylor has passed away of a heart attack at the age of 84. Rod had been hospitalized after sustaining a fall and was released to go home. On January 7th Mr. Taylor suffered a fatal heart attack at home surrounded by his family and friends.

His daughter, Felicia said in a statement: "My dad loved his work. Being an actor was his passion – calling it an honorable art and something he couldn’t live without."
Sunday, Jan. 11, would have been Rod's 85th birthday.

Rod is survived by his third wife Carol Kikumura, and his daughter with Mary Hilem, former CNBC anchor Felicia Taylor.

For those of you that stay up late or get up early, Turner Classic Movies has The Time Machine scheduled to air on February 22, 2015 as part otf thier 31 days of Oscar. It's scheduled to air at 6.00 a.m. pacific time.
